Purpose of your life

Are you living your passionate life? What is the purpose of your life? Did you find out?

You can find several websites claiming that they will help you in finding out your passion, by providing some questions. They frame questions in pattern, and based on your answers; they “guess” your passion. What if they never pose any question on the core passion of your life? This type of help, does not give you peace of mind. You still feel that something is missing in your life. This indicates that you are not fulfilling the passion. It doesn’t mean that you are un-peaceful, but you are not peaceful.

To understand the problem with depending on somebody is well illustrated by this example. Assume your passion is Sharing. The gurus frame questions based on several aspects and subjects. Several of the questions are related to business also, which is also a type of sharing. So, you will answer questions related to business with lots of enthusiasm, which will trigger these gurus to come to a conclusion that your passion is business. You will be confused with what type of business you need float and what product to sell etc. And, even, after your business is successful, you still will feel that something is missing in your life. Your mind thinks about “something” to achieve.

On the other hand, questions like; did you get joy while helping your mom in your childhood? Did you feel that you wanted to help your classmates, your friends, your colleagues, your spouse, or anybody? These types of questions will provoke you to think deeply and inspire you to bring out your passion. Remember, this is only an example related to a single passion.

So, you will never be sure that somebody is covering all areas and subjects and are knowledgeable to tap into all subjects. You can get ideas and suggestions from gurus, friends and mentors; but, you need to sit down and think deep down to help your self; living passionate life. You get correct answer only by questioning yourself; in this matter. It may not occur to you the first day. It may take days, weeks or years for the aha moment. But once you discover, your life is never same again. You get immense joy and you look for ways to help others.

How do you know you are living a passionate life?
If your mind thinks about “something” and that it needs to do that “something”, you still are not living a purposeful life. Or, it feels something is missing, or I do not know what I need to do to get peace of mind, then, it is time to dig deep and get answers.

On the other hand, if it thinks that it needs to expand on “something”, which you are already doing, then you are living a purposeful life. You get peace of mind. You will not be after material things to get pleasure, but fulfilling your soul’s purpose, you will be happy and peaceful.

Everybody’s passion is different and unique. Bring abundance to this Universe with your passion and purpose of life.
